I live less than a mile from the store. Ordered flowers last week and they decided to ship them via FedEx instead of delivering them to my house, that's okay just confusing to understand the reasoning. However, FedEx decided that my wife's flowers should go to Ohio before coming to me and actually pushed the delivery date from 2/14 to 2/19. So, now I need to request a refund for flowers that will arrive extremely late and were already replaced with flowers I went out to purchase. Their email doesn't work and no one answers the phone at their store. I will be stopping by when I have a chance.
Spoke with someone at the store who offered to deliver flowers on 2/15, which I appreciate the offer, it's still too late. Requested a refund, they will see what they can do. I actually discovered that what I assumed was a tracking number for my flowers, was not at all connected. It was just a coincidence that I had a package coming in the same day that I did not know about. So, to make it worse, my flowers from Designs by Mike were NEVER sent out, not via delivery not via shipping, and I didn't even receive a phone call to say they weren't coming. Don't use them. Period.
The flowers were delivered, but it was a small mistake as the number of the flowers we wanted b/v the number did not match the number that the store had in their papers on the same type of flowers. BUT Mike knew the person who should have the flowers put together a beautiful bouquet of flowers he knows the person likes. When I talked to Mike over the phone, we found this out with the numbers on the flowers and he said he would make it extra good by delivering a car full of halloweencandy to the address so the kids could enjoy Halloween. FANTASTIC GOOD SERVICE AND Nice sruff. Thank you Mike. I will contact you again the next time I need a flower.
I'm really disappointed to read so many negative reviews about Flowers By Mike. I lost my mother a couple of years ago and Mike and his company have been awesome! Everything from the arrangement we ordered for the funeral itself and also in ordering a new arrangement every quarter to put on her headstone. I think so many people may have had bad experiences because they may have ordered online. I too prefer online transactions in this fast paced world we live in, but when we first started using Mike's services, I learned he prefers things the old fashioned way....either in person, over the phone, or with a handshake. My advice: if you want flowers, try to order them from him with enough advanced notice, over the phone, or better yet, in person at his store if you have the ability. Mike and his business have gone above and beyond in my opinion for me and my family. Just an example: Called Mike to say I wanted an arrangement for my Mother's stone for Mothers Day. I told him to get started and I would send him the money that weekend. Mike told me he wasn't worried about receiving my money and he started on the project. I mean, who does that anymore??? Nobody will start a service unless they've been paid. But Mike will. (at least for us I suppose because we have been his customers for a long time). And that's not the only time Mike has agreed to something like that. I live out of town and usually call Mike a couple of weeks in advance and usually tell him I'll send him the money, it's never a problem. My opinion: good company, good man, I'd recommend them for anyone for any occasion.

I ordered flowers for my parents 50th anniversary on Saturday and included that I would like them delivered on the same day. I called my parents that evening and found out they had not been delivered. I then did a quick google search and started reading all of the bad reviews and I got really nervous that my parents may never get their flowers. Sunday afternoon I called Mike and left a message. A couple hours later he called me back and was extremely nice and helpful. It turns out he did try to deliver them twice on Saturday but they weren't home. He personally took them on Sunday but the address I had given them wasn't correct. It was all my fault that he wasn't able to deliver them in the first place. He was so nice about it and didn't even give me a hard time considering I had caused him additional work. I couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism and kindness that he took to make sure my parents got their flowers and chocolates that I ordered. I'm not sure why so many other people have left bad reviews because I can tell you what I will definitely be using him in the future. He was great. I can't say enough kind words about him or his flower shop.

Designs by Mike did an amazing job on our wedding flowers! He was very accommodating and created arrangements that were exactly what we were looking for
